yep...I would say eye-lee.
I love this name, but could never find a good way to spell it that didn't look made up to me or slabbed together..for lack of better wording. lol So when I came across the name Isla...I was in love!

Eye-lee. It looks like the name Eileen without the N.
There is a name spelled Eilidh, which is pronounced Ay-lee. Maybe someone messed up the spelling, and that's how Eilee came about?

I'd say Eye-lee. If you want it pronounced Ay-lee, I'd spell it less like Eileen.

I thought Aylie = Ay-lee (like Kaylie/Hayley etc) and Eilee =eye-lee

It does look like it's been Americanized from Eilidh.
