Tamryn is pronounced TAM ren and is related to the name Tamar which means "palm tree"
Do you like the sound & spelling?
Do you think it will age well?
ETA:
Would you prefer another spelling? Tamrin or Tamren or Tamron

I think I prefer Tamren best out of the spellings. I've never been a fan of the "yn" ending in names, but for those who don't mind it, I think Tamryn would be best for them.
I think I prefer the name Tamsin.

I'd prefer it spelled Tamren.. I don't really like the "yn" ending either, because it just makes it look like the parents were trying to be overly trendy. It makes sense on a boy name turned girl (Camryn, Camdyn, Justyn), but not on an already feminine name. Just my opinion of course.
I think it's a pretty name.

Actually I heard the name this morning. She's a news anchor.
Tamron Hall - Meet the faces of MSNBC- msnbc.com
I didn't notice her name is spelled TAMRON. Actually I like that best of all.

My facebook research revealed that Tamryn is the most popular spelling of this name. Tamrin is usually and Indonesian surname, and Tamron is a camera lens and males use this spelling (rarely). Tamren is a lot less common but seems to be female first name only.
So right now I am still considering Tamren & Tamryn

I like the Tamryn spelling best!
It sounds ok. I personally prefer Tamryn to Tamsin but prefer Taryn to Tamryn. As far as what sounds the prettiest to me
I see it aging well.
