when did your name/s hit their peak?
what number was it in the earliest year recorded, compared with 2008?

Gabrielle hit the peak in 1999, at number 47
1990 - 99, 2008 - 79
2006 - 63
currently on a downward trend 55 (2005), 63 (2006), 67 (2007), (2008) 79


.. and other favourite names of mine:

Kaiden hit the peak in 2008, at 190
2000 - 840, 2008 - 190
definately on an upward trend


Addison hit the peak in 2007, at 11
1994 - 800, 2008 - 12
has been upward, 2008 it dropped by 1...

Emerson hit the peak in 2008, at 290
2002 - 833, 2009 - 290
generally upward, dropped in 2007, but rose again in 2008


Jacob hit the peak in 1999, at 1 - and has stayed there since!
1990 - 20, 2009 - 1
has continued to go upward, and has been at #1 for 9 years!


Caleb hit the peak in 2004, at 33
1990 - 88, 2008 - 34
each year it seems to go up, then down, up then down, usually by 1-3 places

Alaina- 2008 it was #223
first year on the chart was 1978- #954 it peaked in 2008
it has been moving upward consistently but slowly.

Natalia- 2008 it was #108
first year on the chart was 1925- #909 it peaked in 2006 at #94
seems to be moving up again after a drop in 2007

Georgia- 2008 it was #312
first year on the chart was 1880- #84 it peaked in 1882 at #81
seemed to fall then rose quite a bit and now is starting to drop in popularity again.

some other favorite names-

Bennett- 2008 it was #361
first year on the chart was 1880 #465 it peaked in 2008
it seems to stay in the 400-600 range pretty much

Kieran- 2008 it was #530
first year on the chart was 1992 #971 it peaked in 2008
slowly moving up the chart but I don't see it getting overly popular

Everett- 2008 it was #383
first year on the chart was 1880 #120, it peaked in 1906 at #81
it was pretty popular until 1952 but has been on the rise again in the past few years

Susannah- 2008 it wasn't in the top 1000
first year on the chart was 1882 #804 which was its peak

Rosalie- 2008 it wasn't in the top 1000
first year on the chart was 1880 #251 it peaked in 1938 at #66
it was consistently popular until the late 1950s

Fiona- 2008 it was # 347
first year on the chart was 1990 #942 it peaked in 2004 at #327
it seems to be sticking in the 330-350 range in the past few years

Alaric - never been on the chart
Alwyn - never been on the chart
Daniel - #5 in 2008, currently at its peak
Emrys - never been on the chart
Esmond - never been on the chart
Frederick - #523 in 2008, peaked in 1917 and 1912 at #51. It's been on a downward trend for a while.
Tobias - #531 in 2008, peaked in 2007 at #476

Carlotta - hasn't been on the chart since 1960 (at #993), it peaked in 1948 at #516
Cecilia - #270 in 2008, peaked in 1904 at #190
Emilia - #401 in 2008, currently at its peak. It's been rising for a while, probably because of the popularity of Emily and Emma.
Joan - hasn't been on the chart since 1993, at #896. It hit its peak in 1931 and 1932 at #5.
Sophie - #74 in 2008, currently at its peak. It's been on an upward trend since 1984.
