Do you see this name as masculine? Would it sound wimpy or too feminine compared to other boys names (some websites says this name is used by girls).

Noah is definitely ALL boy to me. I know that Noa has been used on girls and it's said the same way but, honestly, I don't think either Noah/Noa are going to go booming up the charts for a girl. I love Noah, it's very handsome. Reminds me of Noah Callhoun from The Notebook, he's all man to me! (Where do I get one like that?)

I love Noah and never thought of it as a girls name until last week when I heard that Miley Cyrus' little sis was Noah. I think it is all boy BUT Blake (my son) is masculine to me too even though some people use it for a girl.

I love Noah! I think there are far too many boys names being used for girls, so I wouldn't let the fact that there is a girl named Noah steer you away from using it for a boy. I think it is ALL boy.

Noa is a girls name, and I see it as such. Noah I think of as a boy's name. I don't think one's usage takes away from the other. Just like Erin/Aaron or Camille/Kamil. They are pronounced exactly the same but I still consider the feminine version as feminine and the masculine version masculine.

Noah is a softer male name in my opinion. It's in the same class as Julian, Isaiah, and Gabriel to me. That doesn't make me dislike it though.

I agree than Noah is one of the softer male names - it's not like Brock or Cade. But I think that paired with the very soft and frilly Gabriella, it sounds perfect.

I don't see Noah as a girl's name, even if there are girls out there than use it.

I like it.

I was watching the Disney channel the other day when Noah Cyrus was on singing some crappy song. That was the first time I saw it used for a girl, but who am I to judge since my daughter has a unisex name. I don't think I'd use Noah on a girl since I think of a boy.

Well my hubby loves this name but compared to my other boys names (Ryan and Jake ) it does seem a little on the soft side. It is still a great name, it does make me think of names like Gabriel, Julian etc like the PP stated.

I don't think "celebrities" count when it comes to naming babies! Noah might have been an ok choice for a girl for Billy-Ray but I just sum it up to a wacky celebrity baby name.
(Wacky for a girl). Or when the singer Michelle Branch named her daughter Owen, everyone was like "oh no! hope it doesn't get popular for a girl" and it' hasn't - it was just a wacky celebrity choice to me. Ya know!
