Ok we have a few girls names we love: Blair, Jayna, Lola and Leilah, but lately we have kinda put Leilah aside because we have chosen MiKayla as a middle name, and well that just doesn't work. The middle name is MiKayla because I have two nieces named Kayla, one died a month after she was born because she was premature, and the other one I don't see often. Anyways I couldn't find anything that went with Kayla well, so we decided on MiKayla. ANYWAYS everytime I hear Layla by Eric Clapton I fall in love with the name again!! Can anyone help? I need a second middle name to go with Kayla, to make it work with Leilah! I don't want a hugely popular name, I like names that are slightly different, thanks so much guys!! hope you can help!

Maybe you can still honor your nieces by doing a variation of the name Kayla instead so it will still work with your favorite first name Leilah (or Layla).

For example:

Leilah Kay Smith
Layla Kaylee Smith

Or you can just use the initial "K" alone - much like Harry S Truman did (so he could honor both grandfathers, Samuel and Solomon)

What does everyone think of
Layla Chloe MiKayla
or
Layla Jayme MiKayla (Jayme after Daddy, whos name is James)

(I have decided to change the spelling to Layla, because the last name will be long, so I dont want her to have a long first name as well. . .)
