Hmmm...

*His name rhymes with his sister's name Harlow --- I don't like rhyming sibs

*Sparrow is an interesting name. Sparrows are sort of tiny and delicate. I would think she might have used a more imposing bird name like Hawke or Eagle for a boy.

*James is fine. I like it as a middle name

* Midnight seems thrown in for no good reason.

Sparrow I would picture as a girl due to how delicate and tiny they are but perhaps she is thinking more of Sailor Jerry vintage tattoo sparrows (which i love and are unisex)?

Harlow and Sparrow are too close together, and Sparrow is so not a boy's name. James is fine, but Midnight? Why is that even in there?

Wow. I guess it was just a fluke that they chose a name many people like/copied the first time.

Sparrow is actually one of my GP's...but I have it for a girl. Something about it just seems naturally feminine and whimsical to me! I don't dislike it on a boy though, especially for them. I quite like their combo actually. Sparrow James Midnight is not something I would use but cool none-the-less.

I'm not a fan of it, but when I consider who the parents are, I'm not that surprised.

I see it as like his sister's name. Here's my thoughts on it:

Sparrow/Harlow Different first name (I thought they were Captain Jack fans too, I actually don't see Sparrow as a girls name because of Pirates.)

Midnight-Winter something about the time of year they were born, Harlow was born in the Winter and Sparrow was born in the early morning. Plus I see Winter and Midnight as rocker-type names so if they decide to be rockers like Dad, and don't want to go by their given names then they have rocker names to go by.

James-Kate Classic names if they decide they don't like Sparrow, Midnight, Harlow or Winter

I personally would have used a different first name for Sparrow, but I suppose it will grow on me, Harlow did.
