My BIL and SIL have 2 kids. One is named Fagan (Fay-gun) and the other one is McHarg( Mc-arg)...interesting, huh

What would you call McHarg for a nickname??

Fagan is my SIL's maiden name and McHarg is her mom's maiden name.

All I can think of is Micky or if he had a middle initial that worked maybe something like MC. Those names are definately unique. I'm not opposed to using maiden names but I prefer them as middle names.

I think Fagan lucked out, and even he is going to have probs with the first 3 letters of his name. McHarg is really unfortunate sounding. I would use Mickey. Better yet...I would call them by their middle names.

I feel bad, those names seem very easy to tease. I would have used them for middle names if anything at all.

I'd use the nn Mic

I like the idea of using family/maiden/etc. names, but those are nmsAA.

What are their middle names??

I would call the second one Mac....

Oh, the middle names are slightly better I guess... nmsaa means not my style at all (and nms is just not my style)
