Love it!

I have a boy in my year 12 Modern History class with this name.

I love it on a boy and I actually much prefer it spelt Shia!

I have it as one of my top girl names and I don't know how else it could be spelled to look less feminine...

Shya - looks more feminine to me
Shiah- still has the 'i' in it

I can't imagine seeing it on a girl and liking it, but it is rather feminine sounding for a boy name. I think it fits Shia LaBeouf, though.

i guess i just dont see it as a girls name because of Shia LaBeouf lol.. hes my favorite acter (besides johnny depp of course lol).. so i cant see it as a girls name.. i really dont like girls names that are like, Shay, Cheyanne, Shaina.. pretty much anything with the SH sound in the front lol..

i just think Shia is one of those names that fit men well that sound fem.. like Kelly, Alexis, Paige to name a few.. and i too, think it fits Shia very well lol..

i just dont like the spelling!

I really like Shia and I love Shia LeBeouf! He's such a cutie! I do think it's *sorta* a feminine sounding male name but it totally fits him.
I'd like to see it used on a male or a female though! Wouldn't bother me on either.
