What is the most bizarre name that DH/SO has ever suggested? Has he ever suggested a name that was just totally out there that made you go ?

Newp, not really. DH hasn't suggested many names at all.. he came up with Nicole, Alexandria, Amalie (we thought he made it up, as an alternative suggestion to Amity), and Emmett. He suggested Emmett as a joke, because he thought it was off the wall, and I'd never go for it, but it's really grown on both of us since then.

My dh doesn't suggest names often either.

He suggested Sage and Marlo for girls but that's about it.

Anakin (yeah, as in Skywalker). Sometimes I don't know if he continues to suggest it just to tick me off or if he's serious. I think it's a little of both actually.

He does consider names more seriously if I can associate them with a comic book character or something similiar. That's why he liked Logan before we started having kids. And, that's how I tried to talk him into Xavier.....but he still wasn't having it. However, he recently said we could put Xavier on our list!

There was this time a few years back, before we were even having children, we were both talking about names that would be "cool". I can't remember if it was him or I who brought it up but we talked about the name Huntington for a boy. We laugh about it now because our naming style is waaaaay different. My DH says he used to just have fun and humor me by talking about more unique names. Now his favorite names are Sophia, Ava, Noah, and Preston. So very normal. I would go for some "out there" names but I definitely wouldn't use Huntington.

He hasn't actually. All the ones he likes are normal, I'm the one suggesting all the "weird" names, according to him.

She actually hasn't. We both like some names that aren't exactly "common" but not particuarly bizarre either (in my opinion).

Same here. Well my DH actually suggested (and pushed for) Maximilian for a little while but I don't think that's such a bizarre name...

Well, the only one I can think of is the name Guy for a boy. He seemed like he was being serious about it too! I hate that name.

Kelani, which isn't a bad name per se, but just sounds so ethnic and DH and I are so not ethnic that it might seem weird.

He was big on Jean-Luc for a long time. Heck no would I ever name a kid after someone on StarTrek.

My DH has been pushing for Jazmin (his spelling) if we have another girl. I say no way. The most off-beat boy name he's suggested was Lorenzo, and I actually do like it now.
