WDYT of Alec?

Lauren's middle name is Alexandria, and Alec is technically a short form of Alexander.. do you think the names are too similar? Would it be like using the same name twice?

I don't think that they are too similar or that it's like using the same name twice. I personally don't view Alec as the same name as Alexander/Alex. I think of it as a different name all together.

I like Alec. I think it is strong and very masculine. Goes with your kids names well. I don't mind Alec and Alexandria together esp since one would be a FN and the other a MN

I love Alec! Like someone else said, I think of it separate from Alexander/Alex. I don't think the names are too similar or that you'd be using it twice.

I like Alec but I probably wouldn't use it.
