I like all three. Love Calliope, but I always pronounced it "kal-LEE-oh-pee".

I also like a lot of C-names. Caoimhe, Conan, Colin, Ciaran, Cliona, Clodagh, etc.

I like the first two but not Calliope. I saw how to pronounce it but at first glance I was pronouncing it Caa-lee-oh-p and it reminded me of Canteloupe.

I also have a weakness for C names.

Calista
Carissa
Christiana (pronounced Chris-tee-ah-na)
Charity

Caden
Christian
Caleb

I really like Calliope, and I like Clarisa but only pronounced like Marissa. I love Clarice, though. Not a fan of Camille.

Colette
Cadence
Cosette
Celeste
Corinne
Clover
Christa
Caroline
Cassandra
(though I prefer it spelled with a K)

Christian
Caius
Canyon
Cyrus
Cohen
Cedric

I like Camille and Camilla. Clarisa is nice too but I preferred it spelled with two S's. I like Callie as a nn but I'm not a fan of Calliope.

My fave C names are:
Cambria
Carly
Charlize

Charles/Charlie
Cohen

I like a lot of the C names you guys listed as well. I guess I should revise my posting slightly because I love tons of C names for girls but can't really say that I LOVE any C names for boys. Weird

It's funny that you mentioned Clarice Kes. Clarice is one of my most faves EVER but dh keeps kicking it Clarisa is my attempt to use it anyway With that pronunciation, Clarise is a possible nn.

We thought about using Clarice as Lauren's middle name. She was Ariadne Clarice and Alexandria Clarice (nice name Ace, since our last name starts with E). But then when we named her Lauren we nixed Clarice. I had a really good friend in high school named Lauren. I wouldn't say Lauren is named after my high school friend, but she's the one I always thought about when I heard the name. her name is Lauren Clarice Edison, and our kid would have been Lauren Clarice Edvalson. Sort of stalker-ish, and Andy wanted Alexandria anyways.
