My son's name is Maxwell James Spears. We like common but not trendy over popular names.

With this pregnancy, we have first names picked out but not middle names.

For a girl - Meghan. I'm thinking Joy but my husband thinks it's an easy choice like Ann, Lee, Lynn etc and isn't sure about it.

For a boy - Samuel. This is the only boy name we've come up with and we're blanking on middle names.

I have a Max as well We couldn't seriously consider Maxwell because it does not go well with out Wal--- last name. So, we simply went with Max. I've recently put Samuel on my list because I think Max and Sam make great brother names. Maxwell and Samuel make excellent brother names!

From what has been listed already, I think Maxwell James goes best with:
Samuel Rhys/Reece
Samuel Jude
Samuel Blake

I also like Maxwell James with Samuel Reid.

To be honest, I do not like Meghan with Maxwell at all. Maxwell is an antique with charm. Megan was a trend in the 80's and 90's. I think they are worlds apart. I can't make any recommendations for you though as I really don't know your girl naming style given just one girl name.

Thanks so much for your time and recommendations! Very helpful!

MommaOnCloud9, I'd love to hear some ideas of what names you think make a good sibling set with Maxwell James. Meghan is the only girls name we've come up with. I swear I had a long list of names when I was pregnant with Max but I didn't keep it and we're struggling this time.
