Giselle,, I love the name! SO is very very much against it because of the first half though,, apparantly he thinks it will be made fun of.

Honestly, we were going to name this little boy Bankston and call
him Banks. But EVERYONE except some of our family thinks the
name is either "gay, uppity up, or weird"

Oh "I'm going to the Bank!" I had a friend rub my stomach last
week and say "if you come out and your momma names you
Banks, we KNOW you are going to be gay"... and then just
everybody else thinks it's so snobby that he would get made
of by his friends.

So, we aren't going to use it. But, I love it.

Gayla..I like it, but when I told my friend she started laughing and said it was stupid. But I like it, but she'd be teased.

well here's one for the books. When my ex and I were having our first child, our parents were a bit too involved. They were spatting out crap daily about names. Finally we came up with a real doozy to let them know to knock it off. Keeping in mind that our last name is BLANK, we threatened to name our daughter PHILINDA. PHILINDA BLANK, now if that isn't one to embarrass your child for life I don't know what is. The downside of this one is that we named our child Jennifer, who at sixteen thinks that PHILINDA, would have been a really cool name and that we could have called her Philly and all would have been great. Hehehe.

Blibkitz - Love it - Philinda Blank!! Too funny. That must have shut your relatives right up, for fear that you'd go thru with it.

Anyone ever hear this - don't know if its an urban myth or not - but I hear of a couple who couldn't come up with a name for one of their twins, so they went with Twina.

That's right - Twin A.

That poor kid.

The name I always liked but could never use for obviousl reasons... Agnes.

Really.
