THat's what we are going to name little bean if we have a girl! But we like the spelling Piper, better.
SO yes, I love it! We are probably going with the middle name Allison.

To me, Pipper and Piper ARE NOT the same name... not pronounded the same.

Pipper is like pepper... except it it sounds like Pipp in Pippy Long stockings...

Piper has the I sound... like a Pipe....

So they aren't prounounced the same at all to me... LOVE PIPER... but I don't think anyone should name their kid Pipper.

I agree. To me pipper and piper are different names. I'm not sure I think I quite like it to be honest, it's a very girly name, sweet.

my earlier post was in regards to it being prn pip-er, never really thought of any other pronunciation for it until after i read all this - i guess if you mean it to be piper (pipe-er) then its not bad - not my favorite name, but its ok.
