I would pronounce the name: Mad-uh-LYNN

Madelyn? Madelynn? Madeline?

Which spelling would you use so most people would pronounce the name the way I want?

I always say Madelyn/Madelynn with that pronunciation

I say Mad-Uh-line when pronouncing Madeline

I'm always confused when people mispronounce these two names because, IMO, both are spelled very phonetically....lyn = lyn and line = line. I think that Madelyn is the correct spelling for the pronunciation you're going for... I don't think the extra 'n' is necessary.

Yeah, I would pronounce Madelyn/ Madelynn that way and Madeline with the "line" sound at the end.

Definitely Madelyn. Madeline to me is exactly how it's written... I would say Mad-uh-LINE for that. Love both, though.

My Grandmother's name is Madeline (Mad a Leen) so I would go with one of the other two :-)

I agree with most of the PPs, Madelyn or Madelynn. I think the extra n in Madelynn is unnecessary but it's cute though. I'd pronounce Madeline ending in LINE.
