I don't love it but I don't hate it.

Really dislike Cindy though and for me that's a deal breaker on Cynthia.

I just thought about Cynthia. I was avoiding her on my list for a goofy reason but now I am over it. I think it's a regal and pretty name and fits my naming criteria perfectly. She's going on my list as Cynthia Jasmine or Cynthia Yasmine .

I don't care for Cindy either, but I would never call her that. If I used a nn at all, it would be Thia.

I also don't care for Don but I used Donovan and everyone calls him by his full name all the time. HE insists on it

Not crazy about it, but mainly because I really can't stand Cindy as a nickname. Thia is super cute! Have you thought of using it by itself? Spelled Thea?

I have a first cousin who goes by Thia (Her full name is Nathia) I don't know if I would want to copy THAT much

I don't like or dislike it. It seems like it was a really popular name when my mom was born in late 50s/early 60s. I know a ton of people that age with that name.

I like it a lot. My Godmother is a Cynthia. She never got Cindy just Cynthia. I think it feels soft a pretty. It has not been used much in a long time so she would feel very cool as a teen. I think it is also moving into a classic style with a twist.

its nmaAA, it feels very dated to me, and I have a bad association with Cindy.

Thea/Thia is adorable, though!

It does seem a bit dated, but it has such a beautiful sound that I think it could overcome that.

Cynthia is a little stuffy to me. Kind of makes me think of a woman in her 40s or 50s.

I also went to school with two Cynthias (one went by Cyndi, and she was *incredibly* annoying, lol) and one Cindy, so the name just feels dated to me.
