My husband and I first thought we wanted to know the sex of the baby but now we think we might want to be surprised I like names that are pretty and short, names that couldn’t be made into nicknames.

I would love suggestions if you wouldn't mind sharing your favorite names!

I love the name Tess, very pretty.
I had a friend name Joscelyn, we used to call her Jos though.

Gabrielle and Nathan can both be shortened to Gabe and Nate.
I like the names Nathan and Trey for a boy.

If you don't like nicknames, you should watch out for a couple on your list. Tess and Bess can quickly go to Tessie and Bessie. Same with Dennis, Gabriel and Nathan - aka, Denny, Gabe and Nate.

Yeah there are a few exceptions on my list. Most are either family names or Andrew's suggestions. I figure that whatever name we choose someone will find a way to shorten it so I'm not that worried about it.
