Me and my friend Ashalea met this lady who just had a little girl and she called her Cohen. I don't know her so it doesnt really matter if I steal her child's name, but I really like it. My mum hates it, I dont really care, but she think's it sounds to boyish and she think's I only like it because I like that tv show the O.C. But I didnt get it of their even though im totally addicted to that show.

but what do you think?

I know a lady who's son is named that. I too think of it as more of a boy's name.

I knew alot of people in high school with that as a last name. Its traditionally Jewish and if you have semitic roots I think it would be a nice nod to tradition. Very cool.

I think it is more a boy's name, but in this magazine I have it's one of the name's and it says either sex, but it has variant spellings so im trying to pick the most girly spelling.
Cohen
Kohen
Coen
Koen
Kowyn
Kowen
Koeyn
Coeyn..

I like Kowyn or Coeyn, I think Kowyn looks more girl but I want her middle name to be Guenavere after my grandma. But grandma's name was actually spelt Gwynaveire, she just liked the way Guen looked compared to Gwyn. I don't know if I should spell it the way her name was actually spelt or the way she liked it to be spelt.
If I spell it Kowyn Gwynaveire theirs 2 wyn but you dont notice it when you say it, or I could spell it Kowyn Guenavere then theres not the 2 wyn's.

Would you spell Gwynaveire the way my grandma liked it to be spelt, Guenavere, or the way it was actually spelt, Gwynaveire. Or I could just spell it Gwenavere. I think I'll spell it Guenavere cause that's the way grandma liked it, she was always into different spelling's and different name's she probably would've liked the name Kowyn...

Im confusing myself so much you probably can't understand what im going on about..

I like the name Cohen,, two boys were born in my town with that name last year. I think its cute for a girl as well, I never thought of it that way. I also like the name Cooper for a girl, I know a little girl Raeya's age with that name.
Of course I couldn't use either of them because I'm addicted to the O.C. and I think that would be putting my obsession overboard.

I like the way you spelled it Kowyn though,, thats girly.

lol, Im addicted to the O.C though I only just realised Cooper is Marissa's last name lol..
hopefully, if I name her Kowyn, no one will ask if I named her Kowyn because I love the O.C..it's ironic that Im wearing a shirt that say's "love the O.C" at the moment, I have one that say's "I love Seth"...I'm so addicted I even brought season one on dvd last week...
Lexie like's it too even though I have to distract her when the sexual talk comes up..I dont think she really understand's it she just knows to be quiet when the oc is on..

Reggie,

My daughter name is Gwen. I wanted to spell it Gwyn, but my husband thought people would pronounce it "Gwinn" I personally like the way your Grandma's name was originally spelled--it has a lot of charm to it.

Peace,
Robin

lol, colon. i never thought of that one...

anyway I decided to go with Kowyn Gwynavere. I've been saying Kowyn over and over again for age's and I like it. And I decided to mix the original spelling of Gwynavere (Gwyn) with the way grandma spelt it (avere) because then it's even and I kind of like how the 2 wyn's look.

so my baby officially has a name which hopefully won't change..the spelling of Kowyn might

Ive changed my mind again..she's currently nameless..
Theres to many names I like, its so confusing..
I like:
Cohen
Esin
Madelyne
Raena
Tristan
Jacoba
I like Cooper now aswell
Arabella
Gwenaviere

Im thinking of naming her Gwenaviere but making the spelling how I like it, changing it from the original way and Grandma's way because she changed it so why can't I, and I like it spelt Gwenaviere.
