Hey everyone! I have decided after much contemplation that if I'm having a girl, I want to name her Isabelle or Isabella. The only problem is I can't figure out a middle name. Isabella is Italian, and the last name, Peli, is Italian. Can anyone help me think of a middle name?

Isabella _______ Peli (pronounced PAY-LEE)

Also, my SO, the baby's father, is Italian (obviously) and I know his dad (the grandfather) would probably love to keep the middle name Italian too. He's all about Italian pride and what-not.

Can anyone help???

Thanks everyone!

If you didn't want to go with the anglesized Grace, you could just make it into its italian counterpart, which is Grazia. That was my grandmother's real name (tho she went by Grace) and I always thought it was so pretty.

I like Bianca better than Biana. As for Ghita, is that non-Tuscan italian? I always thought "perla" meant pearl?

Sorry - I missed the last part where you mentioned that you WANTED another Italian name for the middle name.

I must say though that I love the idea for Grace - spelled Grazia. I think that is really pretty.

Some other suggestions:
Isabella Rose (rose)
Isabella Andria (meaning love, joy)
Isabella Alisa (wise, truthful)
Isabella Cara (beloved one)
Isabella Elena (light of the sun)
Isabella Felice (fortunate, happy)
Isabella Rosa (rose)

That's funny you should suggest Isabella Rose. I've had a ton of people suggest that. You know, I think because we already have a boy name picked out, we will probably end up having a GIRL! I will hopefully know next Tuesday! GEESH! This name stuff is awful TOUGH! It's drivin me bananas!

My husband is also half Italian on his mother's side so we were thinking of Italian names too. Unfortunately, we didn't find any Italian boys names we like. We did, however, like the Italian girl's name Sophia. Isabelle Sophia is very pretty!
