Aww Thank you so much Britanie & lane6901! I just love unusal names, I'm so sick of popular ones! My name is Jackie and when I was growing up my name wasn't extremely popular, but I did have a few kids in my class with the same name! So it was so boring to me! lol
I knew when I had kids I wasn't going to give them popular names.
Mallory Jade -- When I was pregnant with Mallory, hubby and I had two names we loved. Mallory (mine) and Jade (his) we took forever trying to name her because we didn't know which one we wanted! We loved them both, but then we decided to just have "Jade" as her middle name and it sounded perfect! I know Mallory isn't a WAY popular name, but I know it's not unusal. Yet I still wanted to name her that because I think it's a beautiful name.
Kaydence Maree -- Kaydence is a family name, so we just passed it down to her. Maree was another name hubby and I liked but we thought it was too popular for a first name, so we spelt it different and put it as her middle name. I love unusal names, but I think if you can take a common name and change the spelling pretty it's way cute too! LOL (I know I'm a Baby-Name-A-Holic! LOL)
Kallaway Michelle -- "Callaway" Is a surname. I always loved it (Even thought about naming my first daughter this, and I'm not even sure why I passed it up for 2 of my other daughters, because Kallaway is my favorite name ever!) Anyways, I heard it as a surname and loved it for a Girl, and with a K only lol. As for Michelle, I love the name but again, too popular for a first name!
Jayden Lynn -- My husband wanted to name her Jayden, I thought it was cute. and Lynn is my middle name! lol
Aaliyah Katrina -- I fell inlove with this name when I heard it! There really isn't a story behind it though
Kannon Miguel -- Kannon was my husbands brothers name. He passed away so we thought it would be a nice name for our son.
That's it! That's how Hubby and I came to name them.
I agree with the other ladies, you have fantastic taste in names. I love all your childrens names.
I'm so glad to see you back posting, I have been popping in the Aug DDC to check in on how your precious Kannon was doing. He's such a big boy, I hope he continues to thrive and has a life filled with success, good health and happiness. I am keeping him and you and your family in my thoughts. You should be proud of your daughter, she was so mature in the way she posted updates on you, her strength of character shone through.
All the best

I loved reading about your childrens names. They are soo cool !
Dakota (my bf) and I were going to name Nevaeh, Aaliyah but passed it up because my sister's name is Alyssa and thought they were a bit too close.
I told him about the name Kallaway and he LOVES it. He wanted to name her Kali so bad and we looked so hard to find a name that we loved that we could shorten to Kali, with no luck. So this name is DEFINITELY on our list now !
I hope Kannon continues to thrive ! He is so precious
*edited to say, thank you for the nice comments about Nevaeh *
