I heard a beautiful name in a movie I just watched. They pronounced it Elle-lana. It finally dawned on me it is probably spelled Elaina. Wdyt? other ways to spell it? I think it sounds old-fashioned but in a good, classy, pretty way.
Ellaina, Ellelaina (long!), at first glance I think Eliana, which I like too, but am hearing more often. Elaynna/Elayna, hmm..

Are you sure it wasn't Alanna? The spellings you gave all make me want to say eh-lay-nuh.

I would pronounce Alaina "Ah-LAY-nuh".
I would pronounce Alana "Ah-LAH-nuh"

Send a message via AIM to carlyheartsphil
Elanna/Alanna = Ah-lah-nah
Elaina/Elena/Alaina = Ah- lay-nah

I don't care for this name and only because there are so many different spelling and pronounciation variations. The name confuses me a bit.
