What would your twins naming style be?

Would you be the type to use very similar/rhyming names? Names that are the same style? Names starting with the same letter? Names that are completely different?

Same style, although if it was a boy/girl set, I might choose same letter names. But NEVER rhyming!

I would try to find names that match in style together but my opinion of what matches in style is sometimes different than other people's.

I tend towards completely different from each other. One old fashioned southern name, and one Gaelic name (AnnaBella and Saoirse for example). No plans to use the same letter and especially no rhyming. No themes for me on this one.

Our chance for multiples is quite high, given that we face injects or IVF, so we've had to think about this one extensively

I would just pick no names in relation to each other. I'd want them to sound good together, but I'd just pick two of my favorites, since we're only planning on two anyway.

It would be the same as if they were singular siblings and not twins. I don't like the idea of treating the naming differently just because they're twins. We have the names of all our future children picked out. It wouldn't change just because we happen to have two of them at the same time. But that's just my opinion.

As for how we name our children... we stick with a similar style (Celtic- Irish, Scottish, Welsh; unusual and uncommon in the US; traditional; no trendy spellings) with two middle names.

So, my response is: "same style"

Similar style but thats how I pick any of my names. I would love to do a literary theme (for twins or just siblings) if my husband would just agree

I voted the same style. I would just use my top two names and IMO, all of my favorite names are similar in style.

I don't know what I would really do if we had twins but my twin names are Adelaide and Matilda for girls, and Rush and Beck for boys. I doubt I would get to the finish line for twins with those names intact though.

I voted similar style. No intentional rhyming. If I had a boy and a girl twin set I might chose names that start with the same letter.

I would just name them my favorite names at the time and for the most part my names are kind of the same style.
DH, me and our DD are in alphabetical order with 1st letters of 1st names(J,K,L..) and we all have an L in our names somewhere(DH & I's middles start with L's and dd's 1st name start with an L) so I might continue that trend to keep the link between all of us, but I wouldn't do anything different for twins.

I'd name them just what I would name siblings that aren't twins.

That's exactly what we did.

I would do the same letter. Of course I did the same letter for my single siblings but I especially like that for twins.

Isabella and Isla
Carson and Collin
Owen and Olivia
