I've only heard it on a girl. And it's 'cute' but IDK if I'd use it on a girl. I was/am a big fan of the president Ronald Reagan and would use the name Reagan on a boy. But worried that it's a girls only name? WDYT? And if it is boy material what would be a good MN?

Reagan is a pretty popular girls name around here. I think at least three people that I went to high school w/ named their dd's that. So for me it's all girl.

I've met a boy named Reagan. And I think I almost like it better on a boy.

I've only seen it on girls but I think it could be used for both.

I've only seen it on girls, but think it makes a better boys name.

I personally wouldn't use it on a boy.. it's WAAAAY more common for girls. According the the SSA list it's #128 for girls and #963 for boys.

I think there are some names that would've been better left to the boys (not speaking about Reagan in particular) but now that they are more popular girl names, I would never consider them for a boy. I would not want my son to have a name that most people assumed was a girls name.

My niece is Emily Reagan but my best friend named her son Raygan Michael.. I think its all about how you spell it.

Very true! But in honoring the late president I'd want to spell it like his name was spelled. I too agree that it would fit better on a boy than girl but it is a very popular girl name. Thanks for the help!
