So, DH says no to basically every name that I come up with. I brought up Hope to him tonight and he didn't hate it. It's not a name that I hear very often as a first name. WDYT? I was thinking Hope Katherine (Katherine is a family name). Does Hope work as a first name? Does it go with DD's name Natalie? We are just at such a loss.

My other name that I like a lot is Audrey Kate/Katherine or Audrey Grace. He really hasn't gone for that choice yet, so I keep trying to come up with options.

Thoughts??? Thanks ladies

I like Hope. I've liked every Hope I've ever met in fact. They all seem to be very friendly. I'm not sure about Hope Katherine. It sounds better the other way around.

I like Audrey Kate a lot. Sounds very sophisticated.

I think Hope Katherine works nicely with Natalie!

I love Hope, and I think Hope Katherine flows very nicely.

Audrey is nice too, but I definitely prefer Hope.

I prefer Audrey, but I really like Hope too. I just am not sold on Hope Katherine... it sounds better the other way around. I forget, were you set on a variation of Katherine being in the name? Because Audrey Hope sounds beautiful!

I do agree that it sounds better the other way around, but if I use Katherine, I want it to be in the middle. I'm not totally set on Katherine though, just throwing it out there since it's a family name. Hope just came to me out of the blue and it's starting to grow on me. It's different without being too different since it doesn't seem to be too common.

Ever since we've had DD, I've loved the name Audrey. It's a name that I've always wondered why I didn't think about earlier, ha ha. Plus, to me, it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn and I loved her classiness. I'm not set on Katherine or a variation of it for a middle name. I thought about Audrey Hope. I like that too. Now, if only we could get DH to make a decision...

I agree with this, although I do think that Katherine would be a good combo if you like the name Hope enough to use it.

Hope might seem kinda short next to Natalie, but both are very feminine. I prefer Hope as a mn, but I guess it could work as a first name.
