WDYT? Do you think this is a unisex name or a girls or boys name?

I tend to think of it as a girl's name, just because all the Dakota's I have known have been girls. BUT... I think it can work on either gender. I'm neutral on the name... it's not one I would ever use myself, but I don't totally dislike it either.

I think it's pretty unisex however I prefer it on a boy. It's not really my style at all.

I know both a woman and a man named dakota....IMO it's not unisex....IMO it's a name for a girl or a pet. It's odd for a grown man to introduce himself as Dakota.
