What do you love your top boy and girl name?

Blaise (because I don't really have a top boy name at the moment)- I love that Blaise is so fresh and fun feeling. I like that this spelling makes it feel more formal (IMO) rather than trendy. I think it's strong and masculine feeling but works great on a young boy.

Avenley- I think Avenley has a mixed feeling of old-fashioned (moreso the Avonlea spelling) and modern. I feel like it's modern without being trendy and feminine without being too frilly.

Our top boy name is George. It honors DH's grandfather and I like it, I feel its one of those names that never goes out of style.

ATM my top girl name is Naomi. Its cute but womanly too, meaning the name would fit her at all ages. And I like that its biblical.

Right now:

Owen - because i love saying it, it sounds open and light, and it goes well with the middle and last names we have in mind.

Cassidy - because it sounds fresh and fun for me, i never knew anyone or heard of anyone with that name, and because what I read, it's an irish BOYS name, and I love it for my daughter! Plus we can call her Cas or Cassie

Teague- I like that its pretty unique and I think its strong sounding. I think it would age well and works for a baby or a grown man.

Susanna- I love that its old-fashioned, feminine and not common. I also love the nn Susie!

Atticus and Ever: They just resonate with me. In my mind's eye, I envision my children with these names...they just "are."

Natalie - I love that it is popular but not trendy, I love how girly and pretty it sounds, I love the potential nicknames of Talie/Alie and I love that she would be named after her daddy.

Jack - I love how strong and manly it is and it is also my daddys name.

Josiah/Malachi: I love that they are biblical, yet not as overused as Matthew, Mark, Luke, etc. I feel like they also have a nice flow to them, unlike some biblical names. AND... I like the nn potential of "Kai" for Malachi.

Lilianna: I love this name because it honors my Dad who is deceased with the Lily part, since his birth flower was lily of the valley. It also incorporates one of my favorite biblical names for a girl with Anna. I think it is one of those names that can mature really well and sounds good whether the person is young or old.

Right now ...

Everett - my great grandfathers name, fantastic nn Rhett, plus it has a classic yet underused vibe.

Helena - classic, Shakespearean, so pretty with tons of nn options. Only issue is that no two people pronounce it the same way ...

Peter for a boy, for a girl we are undecided. I like Penelope, Samantha and Lorelei. Samantha is too common, Penelope reminds me of Penelope Pig, so if we have a girl, we will probably go with Lorelei...
