I dislike Ashton, but I dislike all Ash-names. No real reason why, just NMS I guess.
Ashton is all boy to me. Wouldn't use.

My friend just said she'd use this for a boy and I was just YUK. I like ash names. I think it is equal boy/girl feel to me. I would go more girl if I were to use it.

I like it, not sure if I would use it. I think it could be used on both.

Ashton
Ashtyn

its nms, I feel like a few years ago I was hearing it everywhere, on boys and girls and now it kind of died out. I like it better for boys.

I have a nephew named Ashton, so I would say boy!
I would not use it on my own child, but it is cute on him!

I used to think that Ashton was all boy (ya know... 'cause of Kutcher) until I met one of my best friends Ashtin. I think the name itself can be either/or, but it depends on the spelling. Ashton is all boy, but Ashtin/Ashtyn seems like a girl.

I also don't like ASH names.. IDK why I just don't. Growing up there were TONS of Ashley/Ashlee/Ashleigh's and I'm still tired of hearing the name. Ashton comes off as a boy name to me because of Ashton Kutcher but IMO it comes off as one of those 'feminine' boy names. I wouldn't use it.

I wouldn't use it, but it is one of those trendier names that I can tolerate . I think of it as all boy.

I went to school with a girl named Ashton, so once I learned who Ashton Kutcher was, I felt it was weird that a boy had the name.

Now, though, I think boy when I hear it.
