My son has a little girl in his class named Trystan that goes by True.
Not normally something I'd like but she is so cute I've warmed up to it!

Not a fan of Tristan (or Trystan) on a girl and I think True is a bit of a stretch as a nn.

Personally I've always thought Tristan/Trystan suited girls better even if it is a boy name. Its NMS but it's cute, but IDK if I'd call her True, I'm not a huge fan of NN's.

My oldest is friends with a girl named Trystan. I always thought it was a boys name, but it fits her!

I'm not sure on the nn "True" for it.

How do you get true as a nn for trystan?

I like the name tristan for a girl, on a boy it's just too feminine for me.

I prefer it with the i versus the y.

Cute name...Tristan...i think i like it the more i say it

I am not a fan of Tristan on either gender but I think it suits girls better. true is a cute nickname and I dont' think it's a stretch at all. I call my son Goose :-)

I don't really like Trystan for a girl or a boy, but I've known a kid with that name that was really naughty so maybe that's why I don't care for it.
