You ladies really gave some great ideas for names so I have another question. If we have a girl, I'm considering using part of DH's grandma's name and my grandma's name to honor them since they were great women. DH's grandma was Cuban and her name was Leanor, with no middle name. My grandma's name was Gladys Marie.
The problem is that meanings are very important to me but I saw that Gladys could mean "disabled" or it could mean "princess", and Marie means "bitter". Leanor means "light" which I like but I don't wanna have to choose between the two women. I would probably want to incorporate it as a middle name but I'm needing some help with variations, etc. or maybe there's a meaning that I missed...

Any ideas?

The only name I can think of that somewhat combines those two names is Lourdes...

I would choose a different first name and use two middle names -

________ Gladys Leanor

I would be tempted to use an initial from each for fn and mn.

Leah Grace, for example. I also like the suggestion of Norah Marie, but if you don't like the meaning of Marie, then that might not be an option.
