Thoughts?
Is it spunky? Is it overused? Dated? Trendy?

How's it sound with Garrett and Greyson?

This was my top name for months and DH claimed he didn't like it... he was lying so he could wrap it up on Christmas.. but now I'm scared I've changed my mind since it took him so long to be on board? I don't think I changed my mind, but I don't know.

Oh and the middle name will be Koren after my sister. "core-in"

Sydney Koren??

Sydney sounds like a grumpy old man to me, not a sweet little girl. I just can't like it.

Sydney is not a name that does much for me, but I DO think that Sydney Korin flows really nicely. Sydney feels slightly dated to me... I'm sorry!! It's just my honest opinion

No need to be sorry. Everyone has their own tastes. I already know that.

Just lurking (I am bored LOL) anyway my dd's name is Sydney so I thought I would chime in......Obviously I like the name since I used it my dd's name is Sydney Elise......pros: I know no other Sydney's, it fits her personality, it isn't too trendy which I don't really like in names. cons: people will say "what is her name?" you will say "Sydney" and they will say "oh Cindy, that's a nice name" and she will likely get the nickname Syd, I don't mind this at all I like it but if it isn't something you like it is something to think about.

I think Sydney Koren is a super cute name! good luck deciding! we didn't decide for sure until we saw her, she was going to be Sydney or Amelia or Morgan.....as soon as DH and I saw her we both just called her Sydney, it just seemed to fit her

I don't love Sydney...it just doesn't do anything for me. That being said, I think it's a fine name...Sydney Koren sounds good and I think it goes nicely with Garrett and Greyson

Can I insert my opinion? I think it sounds like a boy. I have a brother in law that is Sidney and my sons best friend is Koren. He is a darling boy I must say. I think the Syd or Sid short for Sidney sounds masculine. But, it's your baby...if you love it, then that should be her name!

I love Sydney which is no surprise as it's my dd's mn, but it does have meaning for me (it was my grandads name). For a while I did consider using this as Liv's fn but had a few negative comments which put me off. I still love the same and will occasionally use Syd as a nn for Liv. FWIW Liv loves her mn.

Sidney is a boy's name, so I get it sounding masculine to you. Especially if you know a male with the name. Koren is my sister's middle name though, so I'm using that regardless.

Thanks for all the input ladies! We're waiting to see her to name her, but I was just wondering how the name sounded with my boy's names.
