My SO and I haven't been able to agree on an English middle name for our son. We both like Daniel, however I'm unsure about it since we already have a Jack. Do you think siblings named Jack and Daniel is tacky or do you not even make a connection to the alcohol brand?

Are you planning on calling them Jack and Daniel in their every day life? I mean they are just middle names right? I don't think the alcohol is a problem at all. Even as first names, I'm not sure I'd immediately make the connection, or assume you'd named them after a drink. I think they are both nice names, and usable together. They are both common enough that the connection isn't obvious.

Most people, including SO and I call the boys by their Mohawk names. Only a few people and people on JM use their middle names, since it is a little difficult to pronounce/spell their first names.

I didn't think about the alcohol until you mentioned it.

I immediately think of the alcohol connection. BUT... if the majority of people IRL call them by their Mohawk names, then I don't see it as a problem.

(O/T: My boys had the same exact pjs for Christmas morning that your boys are wearing in your siggy and I got the pink set for DD. I also had the same Santa elf hat for little Theo.)
