I think it's a very handsome boy or man's name!

Remington is NMSAA, but I don't dislike it. It seems like such a BIG name, but I think it could work on all ages. I really LOVE the NN Remi/Remy, which I would totally use on its own. I think Remington would work in the right set, with equally substantial names, if that makes sense.

I like it but feel that the nn Remy is a bit feminine which is weird as I feel Remington is very masculine

I kind of agree with this. I equate it to a name like Maverick. I love both names and love the idea of using them....just not sure if I actually could. They almost seem "too cool".

I like it ... but I agree that it is a BIG name. I do think it would age fine, a child Remy (LOVE) to a professional Remington.

Overall, I think it is quite a cool name ... it would just take a special child to own it.

Remington is not my style. To me it seems a bit pretentious. Also, and I doubt this is a concern for most people, I once had a Remington shaver and I can't get past the association.

It's to much for me. I do love Remy/Remi though. It's been on my list for years.

I can't really picture a baby Remington, so I don't think it really works for all ages. Maybe as a middle name?

It's a lot of name for a baby - but Remy/Remi is a cute nn. Also, with a name like this, that kid has to have quite a personality to fit the shoes. I don't know...I think it's better on a pet personally.

First thing that pops into my head: The Sims 2.

There is a well known male maid in TS2 named Remington. I've had many-a-sims "date" him.

I love Remy, but I think Remington sounds pretentious and a bit ridiculous.

I don't think it is something that my potential geek kids could carry off. Again a lot of name that will make or break a child. However I can totally see my Dh liking this name for its gun association.

I think Remington sounds silly. It's like Mcmanly Hunter Killer or something. Very aggressive and over-the-top.

Remington is my brothers middle name. I love it! I think it is strong, and I'd def. use it. Remy is a cute nn as well. Then again, I'm from the south so naming your kid after a gun isn't all that pretentious Lol.
