While it's rather trendy, it's one of the trendy names I like...and that says a lot!! Finn is so cute and has a great literary tie with Huck Finn. But...I just have to ask, are you wanting to know for a boy or a girl? I definitely prefer this for a boy.

ETA: I see the font is in blue, so boy...

I like Finn as a nn for Phinnaeus or Finnigan. I personally wouldn't use Finley for a boy, because it seems to be one of those names that has been crossing over to the girls as of late. I would hate to give a boy a name that when people saw it they wondered boy or girl for, kwim?

I think I like this unisex name more on a little girl than a boy. I just can't imagine a man named Finley??

What about Hugo? I think that goes perfectly with Isaac, Phelix and Noah!

I like Finn although I am not as big of a fan of Finley.

I know a lot of people have really started to like Finn and Finley; but I just can't get into them. I think of fish fins when I see the name Finn.

I prefer Finn, of the two. It's a nice name.

Finlay was originally a male name, even though people have been using it on girls lately.

I don't really care for either of them. They seem very 'soft' to me, and I don't care for the sound. I like other male names that fit into the soft category (Julian, Ambrose) but these just don't appeal.

Love Finnely it is our top name for baby girl #2.
I like it with two N's to match my daughters two N's plus then both names are 7 letters ending in y.

I really love it a lot. I prefer Fionnagán (pronounced just like Finnegan), but can't use it... too many people in the states would mispronounce it... so we've decided on Finley instead. It's too Anglicized for me, but... it's the best we can do. If we ever have a third son, he'll be Finley.

I love Finn/Fionn, but for our family's tastes it's just too short as a full first name (I prefer first names with more than one syllable).

I love both. My son Callum was almost a Finn. We decided to go with Finley as his middle name instead.

DITTO! But Finn is definitely more boyish than Finley. It makes me think of Finn from the show "Glee".
