I like it. I think it's best for a girl. I have a friend whose little girl's name is Hollyn (close) and I think it's really cute. I probably wouldn't use it though.

I'm not a fan of the name; but then I do not like most "place names". Georgia is the only one I can think of that I actually like.

I prefer this for a girl, because it does sound like Hollyn when said really fast and/or in everyday conversation. Anything ending in -lyn is feminine to me, so that's why I prefer this for a girl.

I wouldn't use the name, but it's not a bad name either.
