Hugo is NMSAA, but I don't dislike it. I think it would sound great as a brother to Phaedra.

I think the name Hugo is precious and goes well with Phaedra.

I had never even heard of the name Phaedra until the Real Housewives of Atlanta!

Hugo is not really my style, but it does go well with Phaedra.

I guess I'm going to go against the grain here... I don't mind the name Hugo, but I don't really feel like it is a great fit with your sibset. Your other two children have names that have a really fresh, kind of spunky feel to them. Hugo feels softer, and more old fashioned to me.

Gotta chime in as a lurker and a mom (and wife) to Hugos... of course I'm gonna say I love it. Having a son with this name though among a lot of common names like Aiden, Jayden, John, etc... makes him really stand out. People comment that it sounds cool, exotic, etc. I do like having a Hugo in a class full of Johns, kwim?

Also, like anything, the person makes the name... and my Hugos are very fun-loving, spunky, and popular so for me that is what the name conjures. Hope that helps.

I really love Hugo, but a baby's surname would be Fu. Hugo Fu is just not good. Other than that, I'd totally use it. Hugo has a fresh, modern spunky and rather international sort of vibe to me.
