Hi All!

So this whole naming thing is a struggle. Kudos to all you mommies with beautiful names for your children. I need help . I can't find anything that goes well with my boyfriend's last name, Malmgren (pronounced mom-grin, which is Danish). My first son is due May 27th.

I love traditional strong names like:
Mason
Logan
Gavin
Noah
Blake
Oliver
Hudson
Dean
Dylan

Untraditional names:
Greyson
Phoenix
Kieran/Kirren
Blaise
Cash
Koston (My boyfriend's suggestion)

What do you think goes with my boyfriend's last name? Or any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I personally wouldn't use anything that ends in an "n" because it's too similar to the baby's last name. But I really think anything on your list other than those will sound great. I like Noah a lot, that's what I'm naming my baby if it's a boy.

I would also avoid the -en ending. Too many Mm sounds is also a bit hard to say. Oliver, Blake and Noah all work well though.

Ideas:
Henry
Alexander
Joshua
Daniel
Christopher
Andrew
Nathaniel
Gabriel
Samuel
Eli / Elijah
Leo
Caleb
Nicholas
Wesley
Isaac
Lucas
Patrick
Jonah
Conor
Asher
Wyatt
Bennet
Hugo

I hope that gives you a starting place!

Kieran is my favorite from your list but I think Blaise and Oliver go best with the last name.

or:
Archer
Leo
Theo
Teague
Nicholas
Colt
Drake
Sawyer
Xavier
Wyatt
Brice/Bryce
Brady
Cooper
Grant

I agree. My surname ends in son. I have to say all names that end in son, on, and n out-loud. Most do not go well. Some sound fine.
