It's great as a middle name. For a first name it's ok, but I like Josie or Jo as nn.

I dont think its horrible. But I would probably only use it for a middle name.

The name itself is not my style and I would ever use it just because, without a reason. But it is my grandmother's first name (she went by Jo) and I am hoping to use it as a middle name some day, unless one of my sister's gets to it first. I love the combo Ava Josephine!

I love it as a mn. I would never use it as a first name, but i don't dislike it, it is just nms. If I did use it as a first name i would use the nn Josie. I don't really like jo as a nn.

I had a great Aunt with this name--she went by Joanie though.

I would use it as a middle name (in theory) but not a first.

I like the name. It reminds me of Josephine Baker. And there are many nn possibilities as well. I like the nn Josie though, reminds me of one of my old HS government teachers.
