I think it's ok, not for me but nice enough.
It's not made up, its actually very old. You may find some old men in Scotland and Ireland named that but I haven't heard it on any babies recently. It's the name the surname McTavish (mc and Mac = son of) originated from.
Like my Angus, probably won't have to share his name with anyone else he knows

IMO a made up name is more like a random sylable with -ee or -aiden attached to the end! This is a classic Irish name...I like it, but I probobly wouldnt use it on my own child.
