We aren't pregnant yet, but we are about to begin IVF. We assume obviously that we should plan for twins, although we could very easily only have a singleton pregnancy. We're still trying to prepare for two (financially AND mentally!)
So we are narrowing down names we've been discussing for years and are quite stuck on the middle names.
Name choices so far are
Eamon (my top choice, it's Irish, form of Edmund or Edward). Middle name purely eludes us
DH's top pick is Jameson, and I promised him the other name choice. I'm a tad literal, so using a surname as a first name, especially since dh's name is not James, is grating on me, but he's quite set on it, so I'll let it pass and it's at least debate-ably Irish or English.
Middle name for Jameson is non-existent for us at this point.
Eamon and Jameson/Jamison have no middle names and we prefer a specific naming style. I also prefer the original gaelic versions (Ciaran vs Kieran)
Any ideas???? I rarely ask for input since we are so picky and it seems like a lost cause but maybe someone has something I'm not thinking of at this moment.
Some of my other top choices in the past: Ciaran, Keenan, Finn.
Will not use, or have been veto'd: Aiden, Liam, Declan, Quinn, Patrick, Colin, Callum, Corbin, Sean and a long list of others. I also prefer most of those in their original forms, but using the English forms to make it faster to read.
Jasper is still somewhere at the top of our list (we liked it before I became a Twi fan but that sold me on it)
We're both of Irish or Scottish descent and it's very obvious. Red hair, green eyes etc. Mine are green, with red/brown hair and dh is bright red with hazel/brown eyes
