Hi everyone! We're 23 weeks along with baby #3 and we're on team green We're set on a girl's name but haven't found a boy's name that we love yet. I'm hoping to find something like Jacoby's name where it starts with a J, like the rest of us, but has a nickname that doesn't. (Jacoby gets called Coby most of the time.) Can anyone think of something like that?

The only 2 I can think of are
Jacorey nn Corey but that's too close to Jacoby
or
Jeroin nn Owen. We both LOVE Owen but not Jeroin so much.

Any ideas?

If you go with Josiah, please don't use Isaiah as the nn!! They are both biblical names, and totally different from one another! Siah is fine, although if we ever gave my son a nn, it would probably be Joey (he goes by his full name).

I think you're going to have a hard time with the J's!! I've been looking for J names too since we would like a mn that starts with E or J for #2, and there just isn't a ton to pick from!

Jamari/Mari
Jarrett/Rett

CONGRATS!

I am not liking Jacorey or Jeroin. I do love your other kids names though!

With Jacoby and Jordana, how about:

Jacoby, Jordana and Julian nn Ian

Jacoby, Jordana and Joaquin nn Quinn (but doesn't have J sound)

Jacoby, Jordana and Jovan nn Van

no nickname -

Jacoby, Jordana and Jonah

Jacoby, Jordana and Joel

Jacoby, Jordana and Jude

Jacoby, Jordana and Jasper

Congrats, Joni!!!

I'm not wild about the names you mentioned, but next to Jordana and Jacoby, so many names fall short! They are fantastic.

I like the previous suggestions of:

Jarrett: Rhett/Rett OR Jett
Jeremy: Jem
Jasper

Other ideas:
Jameson/Jamison: James, Jamie
Jackson: Jack, Jax
Judah: Jude
Jedaiah/Jedidiah: Jed
Judson: Judd
Judas: Jude/Judd
Jonas

I like the idea of Judson, Jonah/s and Jagger.

Ones not previously menitioned...
Jefferson, Jenner, Jensen. I don't like the nn Jen for the little guy but I think the full name sounds nice in the sibset.
