A couple of years ago I'd say, no. Now I can actually see it as making a come back. I think parents are going to start to turn to Betsy as a less popular nn for Elizabeth.

I really like Betsy, but I LOVE "throwback" nickname-names.
I think names like this will become more common (but not popular),
as an offset of the more formal old-fashioned names.

I love Betsy as a nickname for Elizabeth. I know someone online who used it, and it's adorable.

I actually think it's really cute! But I wouldn't just name the child Betsy; I would name her Bethany or Elizabeth and then use Betsy as a nickname.

It's a little plain for me, and I'd never use it, BUT I can picture a super adorable little girl totally rocking the name!

I've never cared for Betsy as a nn, and would not use it as a stand alone name. If I was ever going to use it, I would only use it as a nn to a more formal name.
