What do you think of this name? (Pronounced "Shuh-hair-uh-ZAHD-ee," and obviously from the 1001 Nights"). I actually think that the sound of it is extremely pretty, but am just not sure whether it would really be 'wearable' by a little girl today.

It looks overwhelming, I can't imagine a child trying to learn to write it!

it is growing on me actually. Not a name I'd actually use, but the more I say it, the better it flows. It feels similar to me as names like Hermione.

I have actually met someone with this name, but she didn't spell it with the C (so Sheherazade). I can't remember her ethnic background but it fit her well (olive skin, green eyes). And, she never went by a nn that I know of.

It's a pretty name but not something I'd ever use because I'd hate to have to pronounce it for everyone and constantly correct people on the name.

No, I'm not planning to use it myself, I just think it's really pretty and was wondering what other people thought of it.

I think it would sound pretty out loud but would be mispronounced a lot.

Personally, I could never do that to my child.
