We have a 20 month old DD named Lilyana and are currently expecting #2 in July. We are on team green, but we can not come up with a girls names.

We obviously want the girls name to go with Lilyana (nn Lily). If (and when) we have a boy, his name will be William Robert III (nn Liam) so I am really trying to go with a girls name that fits the sibset of Lily and Liam.

Any suggestions? TIA!

Hmm I would stick with names that have L nicknames. I'd probaby pick something where the formal name doesn't start with an L though, that way William isn't odd, but that the nickname does.

Lily, Liam, and...

Lexi (Alexandra, Alexandria, Alexis, Alexa)

Lily, Liam, and...
Lainey (Alaina, Delaney)

I can't think of much else.

Yes, I agree with Joni completely!

The only other ones I can think of along those lines:

Lucy (Ana-Lucia)
Leah (Aleah)
Lora (Alora)
Liza (Elizabeth or Eliza)
Livia (Olivia)

Or, sometimes it's okay if the girls' names start with one letter (L) while the boy's name starts with another letter (W), espeically with a nn that starts with an L. So:

Larissa
Laura
Leslie
Lilac
Linnea
Lola
Lolita
Luciana (if you like really matchy names this one would be perfect)
Lydia
Lyndsey

(Also, if you ever need a #2 boy's name, I think Leo would fit perfectly - Lily, Liam, and Leo.)

I LOVE Lucia with your sibset, nn Lucy!

This is going in a totally different direction, but I love the idea of another flower based name for a girl! I think Rosalie (nn Rose or Rosie) would be ADORABLE. Others: Violet/Violetta (Vi), Camellia (Cami)

Other L names:

Leticia (Leti)
Carlina (Lina)
Charlotte (Lottie)
Alexandra (Lexi)
Annalisa (Lisa)

OMG! You guys have given me some WONDERFUL ideas! We originally were planning to stick with L nicknames, but I just wasn't sold on any of the ones I came up with. I am in love with a lot of these!

(And I do love Levi and Leo for a second boy. DH loves Landon.)
