That is a hard one. I like both of those answers for those reasons...

If you want something that feels "classic", I would go with Beatrice. If you want a cute nn, I would go with Beatrix, nn Trixie. Beatriz looks like a misspelling to me... it just doesn't look right, and I don't like how it sounds either.

So, I'd go with Beatrice if I had to name my DD one of the 3. (Even though I love the nn Trixie.)

I would choose Beatrice - it feels very classic and royal to me. I fully think you could still use Trixie as a nn with this spelling!

Beatriz, but I don't think I would spell it like that. Not sure how else I would spell it, but I don't really like that z at the end.

It would be between Beatrice and Beatrix....I would decide based on how they flowed with the middle/last name. I love them both!

If it had been totally up to me, I would have a Beatrice. I love it and Beatrix pretty equally, but despise the nickname Trixie. My husband fought long and hard for Beatrix because apparently the X makes it 'not an old lady name'.

I know moms rarely ever win the nickname wars, but until she is old enough to pick a side I am fighting the good fight for Bea.
