I'm due Nov 30. I have a boy name already picked out but I was thinking Noella and call her Ella/Elle/Ellie? I was a week late with Nicholas and the only reason he came then is b/c she stripped my membranes so maybe I can cross my legs til December? IDK. I think I love it??? Opinions please

I would definitely like it better for a Christmas-time birthday, but since you are so close to Dec I think it could work. I do prefer Noelle to Noella - Noella has that 'Cruella De Ville' sound I dislike - almost like the 'evil' character in a movie or book.

I personally love the name Noelle and had it on my list... and I was due in July! If you love it, then go for it!

I prefer Noelle, but Noella is pretty. I don't think it can only go for a December baby.

Ahh see I'm the opposite of everyone. I like Noella but I don't like Noelle. I don't want her to be called Noelle. I'll call her Ella/Elle.

I don't think it's too Christmas-y for a Nov/Dec baby.

I think Noella and Nicholas together are way too Christmas-y and borderline theme-y. Sorry.

I think it's cute. My daughter was born on Thanksgiving, and when we brought her home a couple days later, the entire town was decorated for Christmas. The Christmas season kicked off right when she was born. We named her Olivia Noelle. If you want her to be called Ella/Elle, I would go with Noella too.

Nah, I don't think it's a name that should strictly be used for a kiddo born only around the holidays. IMO, it's a beautiful name and can be used anytime.
