So, I have three boys. Their names are Sawyer, Bryar, and Kaysar. I'm due in August with a girl. I was not going to give her an "r" ending name. Would anyone find that odd? I just think since she's a she, she needs her "own", and not names that sound similar to the boys. What are your thoughts / opinions please?

Or we can take it a step further and I can ask that you please name my daughter.. I am going crazy trying to find a name! UGH...

I dont think its a big deal at all not to give her the same ending. What kind of names do you like?

I like 'unique' names, but not too unique.. It's so hard to find! I would also prefer her name does not start with any of the letters of my sons (S, B, or K), although I tend to like a lot names that start with B and K..UGH.. However, I also really like girl names that start with a vowel, like an A or an E. But I think I have went through every one possible

I don't think it's a big deal at all if her name doesn't match. If she was a boy I'd vote for matching, or if it was a letter thing (like they all started with B), but as it is, I don't think it matters if she matches or doesn't match. I would just pick a name you love, if you can find one.

Might I suggest Ariadne? It starts with an A. =)
Antigone is another one.

First of all, CONGRATS on a girl after 3 boys! I had a girl after two boys and it's been so wonderful to experience raising both sexes.
As for the 'R' ending...No, I don't think you need to stick to it. My boys both have TT endings and I named my daughter something totally different. If you find 'R' ending name that you like, great, but i think its ok to choose something different as well.

Ideas:
Sawyer, Bryar, Kaysar AND:

Harper
Laurel
Romilly (Romy)
Felicity
Bridgette
Piper
Millicent (Milly)
Penelope
Finley
Willow
Grier/Greer
Evangeline
Hadley
Ivy
Chandler
Tamsin
Mallory
Shiloh
Willa
