OK the last time DH and were pregnant with a girl we made a horrific discovery. We have completely different taste in girl names. I like sporty boyish names for girls, my older daughter's name is Quinn, My husband likes definate girly names, preferably over used 80's names Ashley, Heather, Danielle... you know our names! So we found a balance, in classic girly names. Our current list is Eleanor, Penelope, Viviann, Josephine,

DH's Fav name is Victoria My Fav name is Alanna

Our children are Elizabeth Quinn and she is called Scarlett, Beau is Bla Bla Bla the Third.
Our boy picks are Emerson Cade to be called Cade or Nathan Everett to be called Rhett

For a middle name I'd like to use something to honor my mother and MIL. My mom is Marilyn Anne and MIL is Mary Ann so some type of Mary or Ann type name.

Thank Emma! The hang us with Emerson on a girl is DH doesn't want to do the boy name on girls. Since his Grandfather's name was Emerson I am not going to be able to convince him that Emerson is a girl name either.

To add more baggage to Emerson I named one of our dogs Emerson Rose. So we are over coming that too!

I love Emersyn too but DH doesn't like unisex names. I tried so hard to convince him it was girl...no go. Same with Devon. Love it for a girl but not boy. He didn't buy into it ;O

I LOVE Eleanor Mary Anne, you could call her elle/ellie, which sounds great with Quinn. I also love Emerson Cade. Beautiful names!
