You know sometimes when you hear a name you get a certain feeling about it, or it rubs you in a certain way. I'd love to know what you think of these names. Give me the good and bad! Strong, geeky, weird, nice, anything!
Briar/Bryar (or any other spelling)

Blake - sort of 80s. Eliot - okay. Gavin - nice enough. Cohan - not a fan. Briar/Bryar - Briar is okay. Bryar looks wrong. Cooper - I really dislike this, it rhymes with too many things. Blooper, Pooper, etc. Also makes me think of chicken coops. Spencer - meh. Dated. Adam - Nice! I like it. Kai - also like it. Cason - sounds like a word.
Blake- ehh it's ok
Eliot- Love but with 2 L's
Gavin- Love but it's popular
Cohan- makes me think of Kohen faucets lol
Briar/Bryar (or any other spelling) LOVE!
Cooper- Love boys with last names as first names
Spencer- it's only ok bc it reminds me of Spencer Pratt
Adam- Depends this one does not really go with the rest of your list, maybe for a mn
Cason- LOVEEEEE! I like it as Kacen too
Blake - yeah, a little too '80's Eliot - Love it! Strong, smart guy. A writer or maybe even a doctor. Gavin - The guy next door (for his generation). Kind of like the name Sam for our generation. Cohan - I'm guessing this is pronounced the same as Cohen? I like Cohen. I think smart, witty guy. He's probably a columnist or maybe even an athlete. Briar/Bryar (or any other spelling) - I don't care for this name and no attributes or professions come to mind. Cooper - The one little boy I knew with this name was always teased with "Pooper Cooper." The idea had never entered my mind until I met him and since then, it's all I think of when I hear/see the name. Spencer - I like this name. He's smart, funny, and dependable. Adam - This name is just kind of boring, in my opinion; but I see a man with this name as a strong, dependable kind of guy. Kai - I only like this name as a nn for something longer. I have a cousin named Malachi who goes by Chi (pronounced like Kai). Cason - I'm not a fan of the name. It reminds me of the popular name Jason from the '80s that I like better.
Eliott (this spelling), Cohen (this spelling), and Spencer are my favorite. Gavin is okay too.
Blake - I like it. Strong and handsome.
Eliot - I prefer Elliot. I used to think it was nerdy, but then there was Elliot Stabler and it revamped the name for me.
Gavin - I have nothing against it, but I think it sounds very harsh and guttural.
Cohan - I prefer the spelling Cohen, and I sort of like it, but I think the religious connotation makes it unusable. A lot like Deacon.
Briar/Bryar (or any other spelling) - Girl's name through and through. I would be inclined to laugh and shake my head at a boy with this name.
Cooper - It's okay, though I tend to think of chicken coops.
Spencer - I don't care for it, but there's nothing wrong with it. It's just not my style.
Adam - Love it. Classic, Timeless, Masculine.
Kai - Only as a short form of something else - Malachi or Caius.
Cason - Ingredient in baby formula.
Blake - Knew a rich kid with the I'm better than all of you attitude with this name - it ruined it for me.
Eliot - Ok Classic name. But only spelled as Elliot. I don't get into the original spellings.
Gavin - Makes me think of Gavin McGraw (rockstar name.)
Cohan - NMS too out their and sounds made up.
Briar/Bryar (or any other spelling) - I like it spelled as Briar and around here it is primarily a boy name.
Cooper - Sounds like a pet's name to me, but I do like it.
Spencer - Love this name.
Adam - Love this name. I don't think this name will ever get old.
Kai -Again don't like it. It sounds made up and more like a nickname.
Cason - Sorry but I just don't like it. Again sounds too made up.
Blake - Eh... I have a bad association with this name... so not a fan!
Eliot - I like it spelt Elliot... but I think I like it better on a girl.
Gavin - Eck, not a fan!
Cohan - I like Cohen...
Briar/Bryar (or any other spelling) Love Briar!!
Cooper - It's okay
Spencer - Love, Love it!
Adam - Don't like it, reminds me of Adam and Eve!!!
Kai - Love it!
Cason - NMS
Thanks Babydoll213 for my wonderfully festive siggie!
Blake: Not a fan of 1 syllable boy names, this one doesn't do anything for me.
Eliot: I always think "idiot" when I hear this name since the two words kind of rhyme, and the Elliot's I have known IRL have not been very nice. Prefer it spelled with a double L.
Gavin: Always liked this name, I think of somebody fairly quiet, but smart and personable.
Cohan: Prefer Cohen spelling. I visualize somebody kind of snobby, country club type.
Briar/Bryar (or any other spelling): Briar sounds like the child with kind of hippie, environmental parents, Bryar looks mispelled IMO.
Cooper: I think of somebody sweet who gets along with almost everyone. I like the name well enough.
Spencer: Not a huge fan of this as a first name...I can't really visualize any particular qualities with this name.
Adam: Somebody gentle, smart, fairly easy going. It is a name I am neutral about... don't love it, don't hate it.
Kai: LOVE this name. I think of a fun loving, high energy person who is also grounded and personable.
Cason: dislike... it feels made up to me.
