What middle names do you think go with Imogen?

I *really* wanted to incorporate some form of "Margaret" as the middle name as it is both my mothers & SO's mothers middle name. Not soooo keen on "Margaret" or "Maggie", but do you think "Maya" is a form of "Margaret"?

TIA

I don't really think of Maya has a form of Margaret but if that's your association with it, I'm sure you could explain that you used Maya to honor Margaret. Or what about?

Imogen Margaux (Margot)
Imogen Marjorie
Imogen Megan
Imogen Marette
Imogen May (Mae)
Imogen Mairead
Imogen Maisy
Imogen Maura

I don't see Maya as a form of Margaret, but if that's how you want your honor the Margaret's in the family then it works fine. I intended to use Selena to honor someone named Helen (Helen --> Helena --> Selena - totally works!), so I'm not opposed to some stretching. I do love Marguerite though.

How are you pronouncing Imogen? It's my grandmother's middle name, but it's always been pronounced "I'M-uh-jean." I like it better that way the "IM-uh-gen."

I like Imogen May too but I do like Imogen Maya as well, and I don't think it's too much of a stretch. I was going to suggest Mara... what about Margot [Mar-go]???

Imogen Greta is cute!

Greta is a diminutive of Margaret. However, Imogen Margaret is LOVELY!

Also, I LOVE Imogen (im-eh-jen)!

I'm from the US, and I pronounce it Imm-o-jen. I've seen Imogene before, and I'd pronounce that Imm-o-jean.

Here is a list of names related to Margaret.
