Adalyn is cute! If my oldest DD's middle name wasn't so similar, it would have been on our list to use for our younger DD. Well, it actually was on the list, but I crossed it off for being too similar.
Ady would be the most common nickname, but Ada is cute too.
I know a couple different girls named Adalyn (and a couple different spellings).
Adalyn is a pretty name. Along with the other NN that people listed one that I think is cute is Daly (Dally) Pronounced like Dilly Dally. Most of the MN's that came to mind have been said already but ones that I didn't see are
Me: B 28
DF: S 29
DD: A 6 Autism, Global Developmental Delays
Thank you all for the suggestions. I keep going back and forth on this name, and I'm going C R A Z Y!!!!!!!!!!! My fear is that this name will all of a sudden me in the top 5 next year. It seems to be very popular on this board, or if it's mentioned someone always knows an Adalyn. I like unique names, and I would be sick if I named her this only for the name to become the new Olivia (which I also love) or what-not next year...GRRR...
But as of this morning if we chose Adalyn, I think Brielle would be her middle name!! 1) Because I do love the name Brielle, and 2) my Grandmas' names - one's middle name is Isabell, and the other is just Belle, so I think Brielle could be considered naming her after them??? Maybe?? Hope that wouldn't be stretching it!
